Solved: Using data from the Web - Qlik Community

Hi,

I am unfamiliar with QlikView and have been playing with the free Personal Edition.

I would like to know, please, if QlikView can be used to pull data from web pages as all our business is done via websites.

I have seen reference to QlikView extensions and the QlikView market but don't know what this is.

I suspect what you need to use is QV Source. You can use this to access data from all sorts of social media.

IF your fields are fix in web you can upload data from web using load , by Selecting Web File

and load desired data into qlikview.

No, a bit more complex with feeds.

QVSource have a connector, Twitter Connector for QlikView

In personnel edition itself you can pull data from website using webfile option in script view.
