I have a pie chart that is part of a report that is distributed via pdf. When the pie chart gets distributed, for some reason a "slice" of the pie, with no value, appears blank within the chart. It doesn't appear on the actual chart in the dashboard, only when it gets sent out.
Anyone else come across this, and if so, how can it be remedied?
Mike
I resolved the issue. I had to change the style of the chart, using the top-left choice. Looks like that is the basic version, which can easily be read and interpreted by adobe.
If there is null values then it comes like so make it 0 or exclude from pie.
Hope this helps
Thanks & Regards
The problem is not with Nulls. Like I explained, the pie chart looks fine in the dashboard, but only in the report is the issue.

Hi Michael,
there might be something in the report_settings.
To make it quite precise:
- The issue does not appear in QlikView itself
=> Does it appear when you review the report or only on the generated pdf?
=> That will let us identify whether the issue is more probable to be with the report_editor or the pdf_generator...
(and of course it would help if you could attach a small copy of your qvw and/or the pdf you generate as report)
