What is the purpose of Relative checkbox in straight table?

Hi,

What is the purpose of Relative checkbox in straight table for the expression. I have gone through the referece manual there what i got is..

Relative:

Marking this check box will set the chart to show the result in percent

instead of absolute numbers

when i want to calculate % for the expression.

for eg: The expression is (100/1000) and now i want to calculate this expr in percentage i.e (100/1000)*100. When i check the relative checkbox for this expr i'm not getting exact value. But, if i gone through Number Tab and checks the Show percent % and fixed number 2 or 3. I'm getting exact result so my question is what is the purpose of Relative checkbox for the expr..

Can anyone help me with example.
