Will QlikView.next be included with current QlikView license -

Hi all,

Currently pretty close to placing an order with Qliktech for QlikView - one of the big draw backs is obviously the UI which looks ancient. QlikView.next looks beautiful though. Will .next be included in the QlikView license or is this effectively a seperate product that would need to be purchased?

Hi, Qlikdave.

If I recall correctly, QlikView.Next was rebranded as QlikSense. In which case this is a completely separate product to QlikView. Over time there may be a convergence of tools within these two Qlik products but currently they are separate purchases.

I would make sure you know exactly what you are getting before parting with any money 🙂

Regards,

Neil

As far as I know they are separate products with entirely different licensing models. But you should really contact your Qlik Sales representative (or Qlik Partner) about this. This is not the kind of information that is available on a community website. I'm pretty sure though that Qlik will offer a reasonable migration path that will consider the investment you're about to make in QlikView licenses.

Ah, yes, I see that Qlikview.next was effectively a working title.

I found this Our Vision | QlikView > Next which made the product look like a new iteration of QlikView why is this still up?

That is a lot clearer now, thank you.
