Windows Event Logs evtx

Hi Has anyone been able to load Windows Event Log file(s) evtx into Qlikview for a deeper investigation of events and what errors are occurring, frequency, status and the details?

Need urgent help please!

Hi @BruceT,

In the short term, you would need to first convert the .evtx files to a format that QlikView can handle, such as .csv or .log.  I did a Goggle search and found the below two items:

https://www.nirsoft.net/articles/export_windows_events_from_evtx_file.html

 

In the long term, you can make a feature request for QlikView to add the .evtx file types - https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/How-To-Submit-Feature-Requests-For-Qlik-Products/ta-p/171258...
