Hi,
Am exporting tables to word document. In qv am showing the table in horizontal view, but after export it changes automatically vertical. I am not able to fix it. Is there any workaround avail to export table as horizontal?.
Another thing, how to fix the column width after export. the column header adjust to size and not good to read as well. Please find the attachment.
Please suggest.
Regards,
Siva
I think this are all word-features and you will need to find ways within word to adjust it like you want. One way could be to use for this exporting (it's more copying) a specialized word-template-file *.dotx in which you tried to set all needed options and maybe some macros which will adjust the rest. For this I think will be ms-office communities are better suitable as the qlik community.
Another way could be to use other tools like NPrinting.

How are you exporting the file?
If you utilize a product like NPrinting that will allow you to crate a eport template in the desired format, using QlikView objects
can you provide a sample of what the table looks like in QV and how it looks in Word?
I made a table horizontal in Qlik, right click on table and copy to clipboard/object and pasted in word
It displays in word in horizontal format but since it was a big table, it had scroll bars (like an image of the table).
what about copy to clipboard object/full table?
am exporting to word using macro
I do not use macros myslef, but am familiar with their use - my guess would be it is something within the macro that does not know the table is horizontal
yes you are right. am not getting that piece of code to fix it
