Hello,

I am reading an xml field and wants to extract or search a specifc tag. Is there any qlikview function that helps me, or is there any workaround.

Noting that each record containg different xml structure.

While extracting xml data from qlikview you have option to extract specific tag data.

Hi Elie,

I have never done this, but using the wizard in the script_editor (the button "from document") you can tell QlikView (in the format dropdown box at the bottom of the window) that you want to read an XML file.

I have used the TextBetween function to read the value of the tag and it works !
