adding field issue

Hi all,

@sunny_talwar

i m facing one issue  . i have used alternate states in my charts .  below using expression.

=sum({<Source=$::Source,Region=$::Region,Country=$::Country,Quarter=$::Quarter,Month=$::Month,[Business Area Code]=$::[Business Area Code],Lifecycle=$::Lifecycle>}[Net Sales])

only lifecyle  field is not working.  i mean chart is not showing data for that perticlar field included.

as lifecycle field doesnt have data (  if we put any data into that field chart is showing).

so my question is  if any data is not there  in field  y the chart not showing .  any alternate is there for this?

There is no data in lifestyle field? You mean dashboard wide there is no data in the field? I have seen set analysis to behave in a weird manner when you use set analysis on a field which have all null values. I am not sure if that is what you are running into here.

Not dashboard wise. there is a field type for hardware type there is no data. for service type data is there

Oh that is strange, would you be able to share a sample where we can see the issue?
