authorization on qvw

hi,

we have a model with very hight security level.

not only that it will have a few usere

i neew that only one developer will have access to the qvw of this model

how can i manage the authorization of the qvw?

Hi Adi,

very common problem from a developer prospective, please go through the concept calld "SECTION ACCESS"

and also know your business logic and apply the same.

Hi Adi,

If you want the data reduction along with the document access security than go with Section access ....if you do not need the data reduction  than you can implement the folder security that would work fine and its more easy to maintain .

1.Create a list or group for the list of user who need access for the document.

2. Go to the QV server , folder where your app is located and right click security > add the list or user group who need access

but i need this authorization in the qvw of the ui

its in the ducument folder where all my ui's are

i dont want all of them to have this authorization

only one qvw
