automatic document call release.

Hi ,

Is there any way to automatically release a document call when a user has not used it for 24 h.

Nima,

  Sorry, but this is a manual procedure when managing Document CALs. After removing a document CAL from a user, it will be available to be assigned to other user, after a quarantine period of 24 hours.

  Only Session CALs give you an automatic release of the licence after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Nima,

A Session CAL is a seperate type of Qlikview Serve License and has to be purchased from Qliktech just like a Document CAL or Named User License...they are however very expensive compared to most other licence types as they can be used by large numbers of people and basically are designed to be a concurrent users type of licence.

It's relatively rare to see them used in a deployment.
