Is it possible to forbid the end user to apply bookmarks on top of the current selection while working via web browser?
In the file attached I show the check-box which I need to disactivate.

Not as far as I know. And nothing can prevent a user from simply making additional selections on top of existing selections so I don't see why you should want to prevent this.
