A document created using QlikView personal edition can be published to a server, but once the document has been reloaded on the server, you can no longer access the document using personal edition, as the document will now use the server's credentials in the document's key and so deny you access.
If you have a named user call assigned to you, you can lease a licence from the server so your desktop copy of QlikView is licenced and the restriction on opening other documents not owned by yourself is removed.
