for example mtd means 01/02/2015 to 10/02/2015 ...
lmtd menas?
ytd means 01/01/2015 to 10/02/2015
lytd means ?
lmtd = last month to date, in your example 01/01/2015 - 10/01/2015
ytd = year to date, is 01/01/2015 to 10/02/2015
lytd = last year to date, os 01/01/2014 to 10/02/2014
lmtd u made mistake
it is 10/02/2015 right?
Hi, is not a mistake, is the last month till the same day, to compare the first 10 days of this month with the first 10 days of the last month.
If lmtd was until 10/02/2015 it would be te same than ytd (at least for february)
No
mtd is for exapmle take today
mtd: 1/2/2015, 11/02/2015
lmtd 1/1/2015 to 11/02/2015
ytd is 01/01/2015 to 11/02/2015
lytd is 11/02/2014 to 11/02/2015 am i right or not?
For another example, take today date is 11/08/2015
mtd: 01/08/2015 to 11/08/2015
lmtd: 01/07/2015 to 11/07/2015
You can compare mtd and lmtd beacuse they take the same number of days.
If lmtd was from 01/07/2015 to 11/08/2015, you can't compare them and this lmtd really doesn't tells you much.
ytd: 01/01/2015 to 11/08/2015
lytd: 01/01/2014 to 11/08/2014
Again, you can compare them because is the same number of days in the last year.
Hi,
In the names itself we will get clear explanation about this.
MTD is Current Month Starting to till Date.
LMTD is Last Month Starting to As on Date( It says last month start date to today's same date in the last Month)
YTD is Current year to till Date
LYTD is Last Year starting to today's same date in the last year
