connection to my SQL DB

HI,

I am trying to start working with the QV and i cant understand how shuld i connect it to my db on SQL.

i have on my laptop sql express 2008 and i have my DB on it. i want to make a connection bettween the db and the qlikview.

how should i do it?

Hello,

you need either a ole-db or an odbc-driver to build a data-bridge from QV to your SQL-server. If you have installed one of them, let's say the odbc-driver start QV to build a new application. Then you can use the db-connect-wizard within the load-script to connect via odbc to your SQL-database.
