We're talking about a Local License that you activated through the License Information dialog, correct?

Then I don't think all details that are needed can be extracted from a running QV Desktop. The License Serial and the LEF that you got from the Qlik licensing servers can be copy-pasted, but AFAIK the control number that you need to enter the Serial Number is not available anywhere on your machine.

(Can't check this right now, but tonight I have access to a laptop with a local license - I'll double-check, if I don't forget )

I just copied the most relevant information into a Personal Edition verison, and that solved my issue.
