designing of the sheet

Hi

I need some technical brief on the following scneraios

1) How to create a vertical bar with some colours in the sheet.

2) the design should replicate in every sheet and even in the new sheet.

How to approach on the same

Hi Wow qlikview,

As per knowledge , we can replicate only the background color in every sheet but objects cannot be replicated.

To create vertical Bars with some color you can use, text objects with required background color and you can copy paste the same in all the other sheets, not need to re create it just do the copy-paste it will work.

  we should not copy paste explicitly every time. Is there any approach even if we select new sheet the vertical   colured bar should appear in that sheet

Instead of creating a new sheet, you can try Copy Sheet (Right click on the base sheet->Copy Sheet).

My requirement is not to copy the same sheet

even if I select the new sheet option the same design should present in the new sheet as it is in old one

May be you can try like this

create Background template or just create the vertical bar in the sheet as per your need and export as image and

Go to setting- document Properties - default sheet background

The changes made there are reflected in all the sheets.
