Manoj,

When you say that a dimension or an expression is conditioned enabled it means that you are quoting some condition in and setting it 1 or 0

--If condition met then 1 means Display 'True'

--0 means Display 'False'

Just like

You have expression sum(Amount)

Now you want a condition enabled on this as when year>=2013

check enable conditionally and write there

=if(Year>=2013,1,0)

Now the expression will only be visible when Year>= 2013

Hope it helps

Hi,

Dimension: In this you will directly use the field as the dimension.

Calculated Dimension: In this first you will verify some conditions and then use it as  dimension

eg. if(year='2014',Month,0)

Conditional enabled dimension: this dimension will be considered only if the  condition gets satisfy otherwise it will not act. same with the expression.

Hi Manoj,

Check this link, it uses this option and display Measures and Dimensions based on user selection.  This is one of the area where we use this.
