display Top1 of Top 3

Hi everybody,

I' struggling with the following question:

I have some data, identified by place and type.

After collecting the data I want to know the top three types and their top place.

Please see attached File for a description!

Thx in advance!

Hi Martin,

Here you are a new possible solution for you, there is only one point you will have to do, you have to reduce the rank to 3 rows, we (my partner helps me) have hidden the fourth rank using white color for the font.

We hope you won't be scare with the resulting expression for calculating "place".

Best regards.

Hi Miguel,

you did a VERY impressive job! THX a lot...

But it's only half way done..

See attached example...

mode needs to find exactly ONE value, if two places have the same count NO place is shown...

Any more ideas?

Hi Martin,

You are right, mode needs to find exactly one value, so, what do you need when more than one value is found? showing one of them or all the values?

Regards.

Hi Miguel,

THX for your answer!

To be honest I'd prefer to show all items of the dimensions with the same top-"rank".

But I think out it would be alright to take one of them.

ANY solutions is welcome!

regards

Martin
