firstly i will apologise for what is likely to be a terrible explanation of what my problem is, truth is if i knew id google it but i havent a clue what i should be asking.
ok here we go.. as a company we have an oracle database with a fancy front end published on the web. users log on with usernames and passwords (I have one). I asked the software guys that run it if i could VPN in and download some data for qlikview. i got a very swift no. they did say however that as reports (queries) are predefined we can make a call and export the data as a csv.
as techy guys do they made it sound all very simple and with the language im struggling to get any more clues as to how to do it so here i am.
can any one give me any hints as to how to tackle this as i really am out of my depth.
