error when trying to establish connection

Facing the below error when trying to establish connection with Oracle10 client.

SQL##f - SqlState: IM004, ErrorCode: 0, ErrorMsg: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed

I have 64 bit qlikview desktop version and 32 bit oracle client

Maybe you should create a new connect sentence using the wizard in order to test the DSN configuration

have you added the connection in DSN ?? Go to Script editor > Tools> configure 32 > select the Oracle driver > add the username and other details > test the connection and then use the connection wizard from the script i.e data

OR

Try to use the OLEDB connection

Hi Anu,

I think, it is nothing to do with QlikView.

You need to configure your Environment Variables properly. Make sure your Oracle path details configured properly. If that configured properly, check do you have right permissions for oracle client/ driver. If issue still not resolved, speak to your system admin or oracle DBA/Admin, they will resolve it quickly.
