forecast function like in Excel

I'm new in QlikView and need some help. In Excel there is function Forecast and have to do something similar in QlikView. Is it possible or not? Forecast function find future data points based on a linear regression of existing data.

I am not very skilled in math but there is a bunch of functions starting with "linest_" available in QlikView, reference manual V9 page 370 ff
