generate a scrambled user name and password outside of QlikView
Hi all,
I found the following question in a lot of posts and was wondering if tehe is another solution for the ptroblem by now.
"... how to generate a scrambled user name and password outside of QlikView, and yet allow QlikView to understand it. Is it possible?..."
Our IT Security changes the passwords in not specified intervals. The workaround of creating a connection string in QV and then copying it manually to a textfile can not really be a solution.
How can I find out how the passwords and UserIds are scrambled? Is there a QV toll by any chnce which can generate the credentials?
