Not sure I understand

Why not create Month([Hiring Date]) as [Hiring Month]

You can try this way also for getting only hired data

tmpData:
CrossTable(Month, Data, 2)
LOAD * INLINE [
Name, Hiring Date, Jul, Jun, May
SGJM, 29.07.2016, Yes, NO, NO
YZSH, 29.07.2016, Yes, NO, NO
SLGP, 02.06.2016, NO, Yes, NO
ABCM, 01.06.2016, NO, Yes, NO
ADMH, 01.06.2016, NO, Yes, NO
SDLY, 23.05.2016, NO, NO, Yes
]
;

NoConcatenate
New:
LOAD Name,
[Hiring Date],
Month,

Resident tmpData
Where Data = 'Yes';
