how do i write count (*) in expression

Hi

I have a chart which has to display total no of records in the table for selected value in the filters.

I tried count(*) in the expression of the chart , but did not work...

Please Help...

Your question is not cleared.

Can you please put more details forexample what your table looks like. and how do you want to see the counts and what fields you are using for selection etc.

Simple way is to use count(FieldName) function on any primary field to see number of records.
