how "not to" inherit values on different pages

I have 2 sheets - on one sheet I want the values Year and Site but not Month, on the other sheet I want Year and Month but not Site.  Should I combine sheets perhaps?

There are many ways to achieve this.

You can go with set analysis or Alternate States.

Thank you I think I found a work around by not using inherited in one of the cases. I think I will need to look up set analysis
