you cannot add calculated dimension unless you have added in the script

Calculated dimension cannot be added to a table box object. You can add it to a straight table or pivot table object.

as per my understanding you cannot use Calculated dimension in Table box insted calculate that one at script level. like

and use TotalSale in Table box instead of Sales

No in Table box you cannot add the calculated dimension, except table box you can add in other objects.

Hi,

You can use only dimensions in Table Box,No Expressions and Calculated dimensions can be used.

Expressions and Calculated dimensions can be used in Pivot or Straight Table

Hi ,

If You want to display the Calculation .you have to do it at back end itself .and call that field in Table box.

Calculated dimensions and expressions cant be created.

What made you think of adding a calculated dimension in a table box rather than using a Straight table?

Hi Sumit,

You cannot use Calculated Dimension in Table box, but can be used in Straight/Pivot Table.

Table box is for only displaying Facts and Dimensions.
