how to increase the performance of qvw while opening

Hi,

I have one qlikview file with size 220,842KB and it will be increasing based on the data daily. Because fo this if I clikck on any straight table or any pivot table it is taking so long to open . In the task manager the CPU usage is 100% when I am openeing this file.

Could anyone help me what is the solution for this. Do I need to increase any RAM size . My manager is asking me about this and I don't have much awareness in this. Please could anyone help me how to increase the performance i,e how to solve this.

Try eliminating the old records by filtering the data to some extent. For example 18 months or 3 years of data. This was your QVW file  size will not grow.

Thanks for your reply. CPU Usage History tables means is it Square boxes? if so, I can able to see 24 tables. Could you please help in this.

Your doc is configured to High Compression?

This feature can lead to opening delays issues.

Disable it if its set

Hi, is the problem the opening of the document or the calculations for all the pivots etc. ?

Try adding a blanc sheet without any objects and saving the document with this sheet open. Then re-open the file.

I regulary load qvw's with far more data without any performance issues.

it is the problem when opening the container and straight tables and pivot tables.

could you please let me know a bit more please as I hope it will solve the problem. please help with solution i,e how to create a sheet without objects.
