i wanted to schedule my data automatically daily
it should pull out the data from the excel and generate qvd's and these qvd's are used for the main workbook
for this i am using two QVW's one is to generate the QVD's and and the other one is for my main application where it will be using generated qvd's
You don't have to use bat files.
Just create proper scheduler action and add params (/R and QVW filename).
Do you have a QlikView server or just Personal edition ?
personal edition
no server
i know we can make it through bat.file and use windows scheduler if i am not wrong
Yes, and this is the only way (use command line and external scheduler).

Hello everyone,
I've just set the scheduler action as the user logs in and it works great.
However, the window of the data loading is visible in the foreground.
I would like it to be executed in the background, so that the user does not see it.
Is there any way to do that?
Thank you!
