Not sure what you mean with spoon feeding, so I looked it up:

1. To feed (another) with a spoon.

You probably don't want me to do that!

2. To treat (another) in a way that discourages independent thought or action, as by overindulgence.

Well, that sounds even worse!

3.

a. To provide (another) with knowledge or information in an oversimplified way.

b. To provide (knowledge or information) in an oversimplified way.

Hm, maybe this? But why in an oversimplified way?

Well, I suggest that you download the QV cookbook from Rob Wunderlich's download site:
