isnull function

Hi,

I need to display true or false depending on the result of isnull function.

It displays 'true' but it doesn't display 'false'.

See the file attached.

Could you please help?

Thank you in advance,

Larisa

The dashes in the pivot table don't stand for NULL, but missing. See attached.

Hi swuel,

I meant to say that normally an 'if-function' allows to set any if-true-expression and any if-false-expression.

If (Expression, if-true-expression, if-false-expression)

But if I use an 'isnull-function' as an argument of an 'if-function' then if-false-expression doesn't work. And I want to make it work. Is it possible somehow?

I assume you want to see 'false' returned by your expression at the locations you currently see the dashes in your pivot table.

I tried to explain that your expression won't even be evaluated for these dimension value combinations, that's called 'missing'.

If you unpivot the horizontal dimension Advertiser, these missing combinations won't show up.
