join two columns result every row to be zero if one of them is zero

I am trying to join two column using this code &' - '& because the two columns have different names but have the same value, and this working fine when both of the column have value but if one of the column has no value or zero it cause the second column to be zero as well even if it contain value I don't know why.
Hi @ajater2012, we will need more info of what code are you using, you only said the &' - '& part, and that's not enough to know what can be happening.
