limit access without reduction

Hi

Is there any way to limit users to see just their related data without reducing data to too many file?

We are using qlikview dashboards, but as a presentation tool we have another web app which have some links that redirect user to qlikview dashboard.

The problem is :

We have 40 branches and we want any user just be able to see just him/her branch's data, so we established publisher and reduce any dashboard based on its branch.so for any dashboard we will have 41 published ones.

If I want to create links in Total app for any individual dashboard I have to create 41 links (we have 41 branches).I'm looking for a solution which limits access to data without reduction.

Could anybody help me in this case?

An alternative  to your 41 distributions you could just do one that contains  data for all branches, but do the reduction when your users are opening the app by implementing Section Access.

Masi, in addition to Vegar's post, here is a Design Blog post that may come in handy if you pursue the Section Access option, there are some additional links to other posts at the bottom of it as well, just FYI, hopefully between these two you can get something to work.  Oh, you could keep your current solution and just do the one extra app with the section access for the other stuff too...
