macro button

Hi everybody!

I´m preparing a qlikview to other users and I recorded some bookmarks. Is there any option to asign bookmark to buttons? I think it should be best way to other users to obtain results.

Thank you for your responses

Open the document and you can do a ctrl+m to open the Marco editor. You will see the macro BM and if you look you will see the bookmark name (test) in the call. On the Sheet "New Rules" you will see the button. Just look at the properties to see have it works.

Note. It would not let me post the file as Films.QVW so I rename it to Films.doc. You will need to rename it to films.qvw to make it work..

Hi,

when you create a button see the action sheet and clik on ADD, there is the bookmark session where you can apply, create or replace a Bookmark.

Hi Luca,

I´m sorry but I don´t see what you are trying to say me. Which tab are you using? On generaI tab, I´ve got three options: launch, shortcut and Macro and the options showned depends on what you´ve got marked.

Could you explain me more?

Thank you, Fiber9906

Wow!! thank you Luca. It´s very very easy, but I don´t have this tab. In general tab I´ve got launch/export, or shortcut or Macro, and depending which function is selected, it changes tabs. These are three options I can see, but never Actions. Should I do anything to activate this option?

Thanks!!

8.5

Ok, that explains why you don't have the options. You can assign a macro to run from a button and you can apply the bookmark with a macro. I will have to install version 8.5 to write the macro. So stay tuned.
