If the format is string and looks like a date field, use date# instead of num#

date(date#(<yourfiled>,'DD-MM-YY'),'DD-MM-YY') as date

this should convert your string type date column to date type date column.

Hope this helps!

In excel file No one applied leaves in 03-Apr-17,04-0-Apr-17 and 10 to 14 days in aplril

but these dates should show in report even though no one applied on those dates..
