Hi,
I have a sheet in excel document. The sheet consists of records(i.e. Revenue, Expenditure). The Revenue has sub fields in the next sheet of same excel document same for the Expenditure also. When i select the Revenue it should show only Revenue sub fields and Expenditure should hide vice versa for Expenditure also. How can i do it Pivot table.

By using those data i want display in pivot table. I want to display it as, When i select Revenue it should show only revenue details and when i select Expenditure it should show only Expenditure details. When i select each sub field of Expenditure it should the fields of that sub field also.

when i create a pivot table using ur excel data the field revenue and Expenditure field have sub field like,when i select in Revenue field data
(Revenue)Sales---> (Expenditure)Material--->(Material)Raw material consumed this type
field show in Pivot table.and when i select Expenditure data its show the data without hide Revenue data
thats wat u want data or anyother issue in yuor application.

Did you modified my excel document data If you change it can u send the screenshot of that data. When i select the Expenditure the revenue and its field should hide vice versa. I'm not able to open u r test.qvw file. Can you say the process how to do it.
