problem with loading xml data

I am having problems downloading xml data.

Sometimes the xml data containse the following xml statement  xml:space="preserve"> this causes the LOAD FROM statement to crash.

As not all my xml data files have this also the variable which contains this statement varias. I have no idea how to resolve this isssue.


Maybe to complete my story I am not a very experienced programmer and have very little xml knowlegde.

Could some please help me out?
