protect sheets and objects

i want to protect sheets and objects. So, only certain users will see certain sheets or objects.

i know how the 'user access' inline in the edit script .. but where can i assign the rights for each object/sheet for each user?

i'm looking for both a QV applicatie (qvw) and a server solution.
