"Combining" data from two date periods into one

hello, I'm trying to 'combine' for lack of a better term, two date periods:

I have the following chart for an example:

This shows data from last week. Since last week fell between two months, my pivot table broke this out into two months. I'm using a canonical date as my dimension, and my expressions have set analysis to filter what date I would like to use, but I'm not sure how to represent this as "Last Week" in my one column, not two. Similarly, I have the same issue with a few other charts, but I think resolving this will help me resolve those issues.

my set analysis is week = {$(vLastWeek)}

I'd create one more field for Month and assosiate it either with Start Week or End Week and use it as a dimnsion.
