source file is xl?

Hi folks,

My source file is XL  it used to get reload only on wednesaday .

my requirement is  end user want see the data upto next monday is it possible ?

in clear today is wednesday my file gets reloaded  and requirement is end usser want see some sample  data  upto next monday ?

urgent?

yes they want see expected data for next moday ? is this possible? or not in qlikview?

A bit trick without publisher.

you need to have a look at windows schedule with .bat file.

wherein you can copy file between folders as per your requirement.

It depends on the data source, All you can do now is change reload time from Wednesday to Monday, making the data available for Monday.

or Create an Incremental QVD and delay it for a week once and then client would assume that he is getting data early.

But, this none would suggest, I guess.

If future data is not available in your .xls file then you have to gone through with the predictive analysis .

If future data is available then you need to fix it with the date lock.(bz publisher is not available with you)
