Hi,
I am new to this forum, and to QlikView itself so apologies if this subject has been covered before.
I am in the process of setting up my first few dashboards and am slowly getting the hang of things.
I have a data set which breaks down as follows:
Team = team name (x, y, z etc)
Month 1 = volume in month against team
Month 2 = volume in month against team
Month 3 = volume in month against team
I have a second table joined to this:
Team = team name (x, y, z etc)
Area = Area name (a, b, c where multiple teams sit inside 1 area)
Quite simply I want to create a stacked bar graph, with month along the bottom against sum of volume by Area.
I have been able to get area along the bottom against volume by month but can't work it out the other way round....
Any clues?
Chris,
Cannot exactly understand but you can see attached qvw for some detail. It's all depends your data structure.
Thanks.
Hi,
Try this,. Create one more dummy dimension in your chart.. Like: ''
So the Dimensions :
Area
Month
''
Expressions:
Sum(Volume)
Can you post the sample qvw?

Great example and exactly what i needed - the element i was missing was to load the data under the months as a crosstable which then allowed me build into my graph! Thanks
