hello

is there a way to format part of the title on a chart?

I have a title put on a bar chart the title is appended with a word saying (data is as of 2014-11-3)

what I want is the title to appear in a big font whereas the "data is as of 2014-11-3" I want it to be italic and centered under the main title

is this possible?

No, but you can use text boxes instead. Use as many as you need different text formats.

but actually i'm exporting these charts into images so if I use text boxes they won't get exported with the image of the chart

Then you're out of luck. Or you can try to code an extension that does what you want.

On the presentation tab, add it as 'text in chart' and it should export with the chart as an image - the options for font customisation are more limited however, and wouldn't allow italics.
