urgent:- Stop export of data(to excel ) to user login

Hi all,

i have implemented Section access security in my application.

To able to do batch reload i have used serial number admin login.

Now i need to stop user login to export data to excel.

i tried

1) docuement setting and unchecked the export to excel option.

2) save the document and close.

After these when i reopen the doc, security options are still the same and user login able to export the data.

Can somebody please advise how to resolve this issue. i dont want to create two documents 1) for admin 2) user.

Let me know ASAP

Hi Sachin,

I just tried to reconstruct your problem using V10SR1, but in vain. I unchecked doc properties --> security tab --> allow export. After this I used V9SR6 and I got the same error as you. The unchecking of "allow export" has no effect in V9SR6.

So I suppose you are using V9 and you should upgrade to V10SR1.
