urgent : bars in barchart are not displayed in browser view

Hi All,

I have 2 bar charts, they are working fine when I view from standalone qlikview. Even the web view is working fine as shown in screenshot 1.

But when I integrate with server and try to access it, Bars in chart are not displayed as shown in screenshot 2. Can anybody plz tell me the reason?

Is the black background set as background image? or u have kept it in a text box? is the bar chart only object in the sheet or u have some others?

If u have used a text box and put it behind the bar chart by layout settings, there are chances that the layout would not work proper in browser. so that the bar chart is actually displayed behind the text object.

Thanks for the reply

The problem was the chart was having transparency 100%. I changed it to 0% and its coming now.

But the problem now is whenever there is no data it shows "No data to display"  with white background which is looking odd. Is there any way to change error message background.

Please note that the background under properties --> color tab is set to black.

Hi Kavi,

That can be done in general tab, error message, you can customise it to show any mesaage u want.

Sorry this wil not work for "No Data to display",

For this you have to avoid the field being selected that will bring up the result as No data to display.

Something like if(getfieldselection(field)<>'Problematic field',expression) in the expression would help.
