variable array

hi,

i want to create a variable  with two options "old" and "new".

and i don't want to insert it into a table in my scheme.

i want a input bow that the user can choose on of the values for the variable.

can i do that?

AFAIK there are no arrays in QlikView, but what you can do is create an integer variable and assign it to 1 or 0 (new and old), which fulfills the same function as a array with "old" and "new"

Cheers,

Lucas

EDIT: I see you've found a solution yourself... but you should take mine into consideration as well!

On the constraints tab, just set it to have Predefined Values only, then tick either Predifined Values in drop down or with scroll, then add  the text old;new to listed values section
