Hi,

Sum(sales) is measuring the sum of all sales for the dimension which has been added to the chart.

sum(years) does not make sense, as we will not take sum of year anytime.

thanks,

Rajesh Vaswani

Hi,

Sum(sales) gives sales value where as

Sum(years) gives sum of years but it not make sense

Assume this example

Load * Inline [

Year,Sale

2010,100

2011,200 ];

Sum(sales) this  gives 300

Sum(Year) this give 4021 //But not make sense in place of this will be better Count(Year)

Regards

Anand
