what is the different =Date or Date in dimension ?

Hi All

I notice that for QS , when i bring in a field to dimension.

I can write =Date or Date

May i know does it make any different ?

Hi Paul,

In idea, the "=" sign is a sign of the calculated expression. If the dimension is calculated, then "=" is mandatory, otherwise Qlik Sence recognizes in any case with a "=" or not.

Check the difference and In dimension usually it indicates Calc. Dim and plane dimension i would say

So far i see not different. So i think better don't put = infornt , as Label will display =Date.

Hi Anil

For expression if insert directly into it , it should not have be different. but it automatic display total amount , if with out need click on total function = sum ( i am not yet try using variable )
