which is right approach to combine 2 QV doc into 1 for easy maintenance?

Hi All

I have sales data which is include with all sales activitiy like customer purchase and customer payment status for all country. ( This file i read only QVD data)

I also have GL data which include all P&L and BS data for all country. ( This file i read GL_data in text file with out QVD )

My idea is to combine both into 1 QV doc.

what it the best approach to achieve it in a simple way ? any suggestion.

The reasons is if both doc is combine into 1 doc , in this way i just need to handle 1 QV file.

Paul, Can try a binary load. Will holds good for this purpose. Or else you can try copy and paste of 1qvw to another. Check out this too. http://community.qlik.com/message/303507 Regards. siva

Thank you vey much for your reply.

mine is a bit diff , as i think i need to manually modify a lot of code , as both have their master calendar file , i need to add the GL table to sales table calendar. Beside that i also need to make sure that both table field name cannot duplicate.

So i think no short cut.
