Connect oracle Database using static IP

Hi 

I was trying to connect to the Oracle database but this is showing me the error that

"Error[HY000][Qlik][OracleOCI](3000) Oracle caller interface : ORA-12170: TNS Connect timeout occurred"

I contacted our vendor because we are using an ERP system from a third party and they can provide us the database views.

They replied me :

Can anyone please guide me, on how we can set up the static IP, so I can provide that to the vendor and they can whitelist the ID?

@Aussiegreenmarks this is something outside of Qlik products and needs to be done on your server. I found this link that hopefully will assist  you further:
