Uninstall the extension object from remote machine

Hi,

I am developing the dashboard in a development server and accessing it using a remote machine.

I have installed few extension objects, in that few are giving some problem so i need to remove those extension objects.

But the problem is, there is no C drive shown in this server as we just need access to remote machine.

So i am not sure how to remove the extension object from the dev server.

Hi Uday,

In the very first post you said you had installed a few extension objects. How exactly did you install them? With QlikView Server, it's a manual thing so you would have needed to copy and paste the necessary files manually. If it was desktop then you can either copy and paste or double click on a .qar file (effectively a zip file with a .qar extension).

That's assuming it's QlikView we're talking about here and not Qlik Sense.

Thanks

Nick

Yes Nick.

I copied the downloaded extension files to server, double clicked and installed the .qar file in the server manually.

It showed that google map heatmap extension installed in QlikView desktop.

Then i tried to add, but it was giving me some script error.

Now i want to remove all those and start from first.

Ok. So based on that, the extension has been installed into QlikView Desktop so the files should technically be in the following folder:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions

Where <user> should be replaced by the username that installed the extension. Inside that folder you should have either an 'Objects' or 'Document' folder (or potentially both depending on which extensions have been installed). If your extension doesn't live in there then it's a mystery.
