qlikview capturing format settings of a document

Is it possible to capture the format settings (font, color,size etc) of a qlikview report?

Yes that would be possible, however even if they would select something it would not be saved back to the original QV document. As soon as you publish something out to accesspoint you can't allow users to save things back into the core document as that would be a major security issue.

I don't want to use it with accesspoint.

I only want to use it locally, on the desktop .

And create , say a .qvt file so that some one else could use it and import a

default template.

Could you share some sample code that accesses the qlikview objects please?
